As a Prime, Nexagen provided Test Management, Test Engineering, and Test Analysis Support services to the Space and Missiles CTF. We provided engineering support to the Arnold Engineering Development Complex. We captured hostile fire signature data that was then processed to expand the modeling and simulations capabilities necessary to enhance survivability of various DoD weapon systems. Nexagen provided technical advice and assistance to the DoD regarding test planning for the Ground-Based Strategic Deterrent(GBSD) programs.
Under this contract, we supported United States Air Force Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Systems Directorate, Future Systems Division, and the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Integrated Test Team (ITT), and LDTO/ETO organization. We led the GBSD ITT Cybersecurity Working Group. For GBSD support, we conducted Cybersecurity self-assessment to ensure that the GBSD weapon system is ready for SCA-V assessment. We conducted inhouse self-assessment IAW DOD and Air Force Cybersecurity standards and regulations and best business practices and system specific requirements (TEMP and CDD, and SRS).
Our responsibilities included:
•Planned, developed, and coordinated cybersecurity testing and evaluation throughout the system acquisition milestones through EMD
•Performed and coordinated cybersecurity assessments of contractor weapon system designs
•Supported the ITT to solve issues related to Cybersecurity testing and evaluation
•Supported the development of the GBSD TEMP, EMD Statement of Work (SOW) and EMD Request for Proposal (RFP) and required DT cybersecurity test plans
•Provided narrative to Cybersecurity related sections of Milestone B TEMP.
•Provided CDT reports/analysis of Cybersecurity testing of components, subsystems, and systems.
•Reviewed and updated Cybersecurity artifacts in the Government Requirements Verification Matrix (RVM) for use in EMD and to assess architecture and design.
•Identified T&E resource requirements, including acquisition of test items, necessary facility upgrades, timeframes, schedules, and personnel.
•Delivered status briefings, plans, and results of Government test activities related to Cybersecurity to ITT & Cybersecurity WG.
